Play and Decisions
Remember playing with this simple toy as a child — asking a ball a yes or no question, shaking it, waiting for the answer to appear, and then turning the ball around to read the answer?
You’re grown up now, and not expected to take such things seriously anymore. But, think back to that simple time and remember how you treated that answer — if you didn’t like it, you shook the ball again. And again. And again. Until you got the answer you wanted.
That’s how play works. It lets you ‘try on’ a decision without committing to it. You’re just playing with the idea.
Give yourself more time to play with ideas — even if they are just in your head.
